NYX Haul and Where to Buy NYX Products in Canada

NOTE: This article was first written in Nov 2013 when there were no NYX stores in Canada. But now there are numerous NYX stores here. Check out the NYX store nearest to you here.

I’ve always been curious about NYX products after reading numerous reviews on other blogs. I live in Canada and we don’t have a NYX store here like America but we do get some NYX products in certain stores. In this post I am going to tell you all the different stores where you can find NYX products in Canada and online websites where you can buy them as well and where I got my first NYX Haul.

Scroll down to find out where I got mine online, which Canadian stores sell NYX, what the shades are for the products below and swatches of them:

So as you can see I went  little crazy! I got four powder blushes, two cream blushes, three eyeshadows and one lipstick.

~ Swatches: I was actually thinking of waiting and posting swatches in individual review posts but I thought that it would take me at least two months to cover all the products in blog posts and I couldn’t not do the swatches and be so mean haha! After looking at the products i’m sure you’re anxious to see how they swatch.

These are the true swatches of the shades taken in natural light. The blush called peach is not peach at all but that’s the exact swatch down below.

Where to buy NYX Products in Canada: (I got all my NYX stuff from Amazon with free shipping!)

In -store:

~ Rexall: I went to Rexall and found an entire rack/shelf of NYX! I bought a red lipliner but that”s about it. The products were all opened, swatched and tampered with. I hate when people do that!  So for hygiene reasons I didn’t buy anything from there. But you should check out your local Rexall. They aren’t all like that.

~ Pharma Save: Pharma Save actually falls under Rexall and is a part of the chain and the larger Pharma Saves stock NYX. It’s a good idea to phone them in advance and ask whether they have it or not.

~ Target: Target is the best place to find NYX in Canada. They don’t have a lot of variety when it comes to shades but it’s great for the people who don’t want to order online. The problem with Target was the same when I went there- tampered opened products. Gross!

~ Pacific Mall: I’ve heard a lot of people talk about Phoenix Beauty Lounge at Pacific Mall (Ontario) stocking NYX and a lot of other hard to find brands.

* Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart do not stock NYX so don’t even try. I went there in hope of finding NYX but they had nothing.

* Two other places in Canada that I heard stock NYX: London Drugs and Real Canadian Superstore.

Online:

~ NYX Canada: NYX Canada stocks a lot of products but not all of them. Last time I checked they didn’t eve have the butter glosses! You can access the website here (it’s undergoing some construction right now).

~ Amazon: Amazon is without a doubt the best place to get NYX in Canada! They have ALL of the products in ALL of the shades 🙂 PLUS you get to qualify for free shipping with no minimum amount required to be spent.

It was a bit of a hassle to find the free shipping options (as not all items on Amazon qualify for that) but after a few hours I was able to fill my cart with goodies.

I also got a blush from The Balm in Cabana Boy. I always wanted a blush from them and I love their packaging and how they look like little books.

I hope that gave you Canadians some info on where to buy NYX in Canada.

So far i’m in love with all of the products. The quality is great and they are nicely pigmented. I wore the mauve blush once but other than that still have to try stuff out. Reviews coming soon! NYX is so affordable! 🙂

NYX is definitely available at London Drugs in western Canada, also at Save-On Food Stores. Both stores have a pretty extensive selection of the brand.

I love how they are so soft and buttery. You have to be a little gentle with your brush to not break them but have such a nice texture.

There’s also a pharmacy in called Orton Park Pharmacy that began carrying it. Might be convenient for those in Scarborough, ON. They have a good selection with lots of testers.

Thank you so much for the info! I love NYX and ordering online is tough. I will check out that place if I go to the Scarborough side soon 🙂

Where is beautyjoint? Is it only online? I went to a huge 2-floor Rexal downtown and they had a lot of NYX products so I got more stuff 😀

And yeah the NYX Canada site sucks! : / They don’t even sell butter glosses.

I discovered a huge Rexall near kensington market downtown in Toronto. They have two shelves full of NYX and yeah the jumbo pencil in milk was there! I can’t wait to go back! 😀 Do you have a blog too? 🙂

UGH, I work at Rexall and honestly people getting into the NYX products is such a pain in the ass we’ve had to start taping them all up by hand >:(

Do you have to pay taxes on the nyx products you buy online. I’ve had some problems with being charged taxes on thing I’ve bought online in the past (additional taxes for being shipped into Canada), so i wanted to know if they would charged me if i were to buy straight from their site.

Rexall! I recently discovered a Rexall located on Yonge St. I was going to The Cupcake Shoppe that day (which is located at 2417 Yonge St) and that’s when I found it and the selection for NYX is awesome there! They even had the butter lipsticks which not many Rexalls have so be sure to check it out because they might have the concealer you’re looking for. It’s the Rexall located near Eglinton Station.

Let me know if you’re successful in finding it 🙂

FTB beauty. They have a new shop open I believe at 797 King West and they have NYX, Sigma, Real techniques, ELF, Bh cosmetics, etc. It’s pretty neat! You can also order online 🙂

I love nyx blushes and lipsticks only. Haven’t tried their concealers or foundations. I like drugstore foundations but as far as concealers go I only use MAC. I do use the maybellines concealers but I use them as a highlighter and not for covering. For covering I only like the MAC pro longwear concealer.

This post is kind of old but comes up early on Google, so I shall comment! Went to a Lawtons today in Halifax and they had a huge selection – jumbo eye pencils, primers and both smaller palettes and tons of single shadows. Sadly, no lip butter. But there is another place to try 🙂

I’ve been trying to find places to buy NYX in store, so thank you for this!
Too bad Target is closing so that’s one less place to go to 🙁

If you live in Toronto there’s a shop in King st. West that sells NYX, Sigma, Real techniques etc. and they also have an online store available to anyone in Canada called FTB i believe and their shipping costs 7-13 dollars and I believe if you spend $50 you get free shipping! So it’s a pretty cool website! It’s been around for almost 4 years now too so it’s definitely safe.

Who did you purchase the products from on amazon? I’m always nervous to buy from sellers that I don’t know if I can trust. Thanks!

I don’t know why but when I visit amazon to look for nyx products ( or other make up products ) they are just ridiculously expensive.

I bought most of my NYX products at Lawton`s. I live in Halifax, NS. At the Lawton`s on Spring Garden Rd, I was able to find the Matte Bronzer (only place I`ve found it in-store so far), several Matte Lip Creams & Matte Lipsticks, as well as some Matte Eye Shadow Singles. I`m not really a fan of NYX`s mascaras or concealers (I like Almay`s), so I had not looked for them; but in they had a good selection of the Matte products, and I was able to find most of the colors I wanted.
I`ll definitely be checking out Rexall & Pharma Save in my area to see if I can find more NYX. I`ve used their products for years because they are the highest quality brand in my student price range that does not test on animals! Thanks for the recommendations, Shivani! 🙂

Well.ca carries NYX products too – much cheaper than Amazon and Shoppers Drug Mart, usually same prices as the NYX website. I just ordered new lipstick and brow powder from Well.ca – free shipping on orders over $29, too. 🙂
